How are Clayples Made?
Each Clayple is individually sculpted in clay by artist Aaron Lapp.
As a result of his artistic background, Aaron is able to render miniatures
of real people with amazing accuracy. Aaron places great care and
pride in his art to painstakingly recreate a miniature caricature
of you, a family member, co-worker or friend.
From the shoelaces on a wrinkled boot to the loving expression on
your grandmother's face, the originality of each design is based upon
the person's physical traits and internal passions. And since they
are crafted by hand, no two Clayples will ever be alike. Clayples
stand between 7" and 9" tall but larger ones can be commissioned.
